Can't say enough, Authentic food! Saul was our server and he was friendly and on point. Great music and ambiance. Overall 5/5. Will definetly come back!

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Countryside! Prices aren't too expensive, but the food is very tasty.

The food is outstanding and the surface is super fast. I two cheese enchiladas with Verde sauce and it comes out perfect. The really great because it is super fast.

Been coming here to eat on a few occasions now. Food is excellent, and the service was perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic Mexican food.

The Service and food are always great. The Ambiance is nice. Try the Burrito Suizo, you won't be disappointed!

Hacienda Cocula is a fantastic Mexican restaurant located in the suburbs of Chicago. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a warm and welcoming environment that feels like a traditional hacienda in Mexico. The restaurant's decor is beautiful, with colorful tiles, wooden accents, and vibrant murals adorning the walls. The menu is filled with classic Mexican dishes, all expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The menu includes every Mexican dish and every single one is made with care and attention to detail. For that night I was craving Tacos so I decided to get 3 tacos, two asada and one al pastor and they were out of this world. They're generously sized and packed with so much flavor, so you're sure to get your money's worth. The meat was cooked to perfection and the toppings provide the perfect complement, like a perfect dance. Whether you prefer steak, pork, or something a little spicier, there's sure to be a taco on the menu that will satisfy your cravings. The service at Hacienda Cocula is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations. Even though we came late, an hour before they closed, They took care of us really well. El Cocula is a wonderful restaurant that offers an authentic Mexican dining experience. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is excellent. It's a great spot for a date night, a family dinner, or a night out with friends. If you're in the Countryside area and looking for a great Mexican restaurant, Hacienda Cocula is definitely worth a visit!

Came to this restaurant after a nearby hike. We had a party of 6. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed our food. Restaurant has plenty of parking in front and back of establishment. For my order I got the beef flauntas and they were delicious. My plate was robust with flavor. In addition to the flauntas, I noticed they had Pozole. I didn't want a full bowl because it was hot out but the waitress was nice of enough to give me a sample. SOLD!!! Next time I come back I want a full bowl of the Pozole. I rarely like restaurant Pozole but this broth was spot on to the homemade Pozole's I grew up tasting in Cali. Not too much more to say about this Mexican joint. I hear is it a local chain but I felt all the recipes were authentic. My group also like the option of buying margarita pitchers which easily served 6 people.

It seems by the reviews that Cocula is a love it or hate it restaurant. I won't say I loved it (first time here) but I found the food to be above average and more interesting than what we get at, say, Chuy's. I tend to snicker at people (Americans) that say how authentic a restaurant and its food are. I'm not Mexican and have never been south of the border so I can only say that we enjoyed what we ordered. I ordered the Enchiladas Suizas. You are offered four different fillings and some restaurants won't allow you to mix. Here, I was able to order one chicken, one ground beef and one cheese. I also asked that they put any sauces on the side and not on the enchiladas and they followed my order. I found the food to be pretty good and certainly filling. My partner ordered the Cancun combination but had a bit of a struggle with making a choice. I did it for her. I'm going to say the combo was a trip. She received one healthy amount of food. When the plate is served it can be a bit of a shock, but any extra can be reheated at home nicely. Our server was efficient and friendly. We didn't really have a language problem but I keep telling myself that I'm going to learn to speak the lingo. If there was one drawback it was the loonngg wait for the check and then the take-home container. Granted, it was a nice Sunday afternoon and the place got busier as we enjoyed our meal. When all is said and done, we'll be returning. The pull of good food, nice atmosphere and friendly service shouldn't be denied. One last thing, and this goes to everyone going to any restaurant. If you're ordering take-out don't bitch too much about what your food is like when you get home. Hell, it gets wrapped and then put in styrofoam containers while it is hot and steaming. What do you think you're going to get? Don't blame the restaurant, it's not their fault that you don't want to eat your food when it's freshly cooked, hot and crisp.

Some of best Mexican styled foods in our area and we have quite a lot of places. Our server was very good and showed what great service means. She made sure our orders were as good as they could be. My steak burrito was just perfect in every way. My wife ordered a steak burrito also with all the fixings inside, hers was perfectly made and the ingredients were added just right. We will definitely be going back for more meals here. We heard about this restaurant from a young lady at works at our blood bank.
